The Taipei Metro Cailiao Station is a planned station on the Xinzhuang Line located in Sanchong District, New Taipei, Taiwan. The station is scheduled to open March 2012.

Station overview

This two-level, underground station will have an island platform.[1] It will be located beneath Chongxin Rd, Sec. 3 between Guangming Rd. and Renhua St. It is scheduled to open in March 2012 along with most of the Xinzhuang Line.[2]

Construction

Excavation depth for this station will be 19 m (62 ft). It will be 222.85 m (731.1 ft) in length and 21.15 m (69.4 ft) wide.[3] It will have three entrances, one accessibility elevator, and two vent shafts.[1] One of the entrances will be integrated with a joint development building.

Design

The theme for the station will focus on the simplicity, neatness, and order of a modern city.[4] Glass, aluminum, and enamel will be used roofs, ceilings, pillars, and walls.
